Our Story

Wellness Culinary Academy was born from a simple observation: millions of people want to eat better, feel better, and develop genuine cooking skills, yet struggle to find trustworthy, practical guidance that fits their busy lives. We recognised that knowledge about balanced nutrition and cooking technique should not be locked behind expensive certifications or confusing jargon.

From our headquarters on Queen Street in Leeds, we've built a platform dedicated to democratising culinary education. Our founders and instructors bring decades of combined experience in food preparation, nutrition science, and adult education, united by the conviction that anyone can become a confident, creative cook.

Today, our online classes reach learners from every corner of the UK—from London to Edinburgh, Cardiff to Belfast—each discovering that balanced eating is not about restriction; it's about flavour, enjoyment, and sustainable habits that last a lifetime.

What Our Learners Say

"

I'd been cooking the same meals on rotation for years and felt trapped. Sarah's course on seasonal cooking opened my eyes to the incredible variety available at my local market. Now my family actually looks forward to dinner, and I'm saving money by cooking smarter. The step-by-step video lessons meant I could follow along in real time and even rewind if I missed something.

Catherine Hughes

Manchester, Greater Manchester

"

As someone with coeliac disease, I was nervous about eating well without feeling restricted. The inclusive approach here—teaching me about ingredients and techniques rather than just handing me "safe" recipes—gave me real confidence. I've discovered I love cooking now, and my meals are genuinely more interesting than they were before my diagnosis.

David Chen

Bristol, South West England

"

I'm a single mum juggling work and two kids. I found Marcus's meal planning course when I was at my wit's end with takeaways. His practical strategies for batch cooking and using a modest budget have genuinely changed our routine. I feel more in control, and the kids are eating home-cooked food again.
